About us

Hi, I am Jacob Henriksen.

I am a Baker and Pastry Chef and have been working for more than 25 years in this field here in Denmark and abroad. I worked in luxury hotels in the USA and Denmark and owned a Pastry shop for 15 years in Mexico. I have also participated in several pastry world-class competitions, including the World Pastry Cup, and I have a passion for baking cakes, chocolates, and desserts.

My wife, Yamel, is Mexican and has worked in different positions within the Hotels, Restaurants, and Events industry. For more than 15 years, she was a university professor in business and hospitality industry. She managing Konditorhuset.

In 2018, we moved back to Denmark and established our current home in the lovely city of Hammel. We want to share our passion for creating unique cakes and desserts for the important occasions in your life and those “hygge” times among friends and family with delicious pastries and desserts.

Our products are made only by order, with the best and finest ingredients, and our production has the highest standards. We put our heart into the details to offer you the best quality, flavor, esthetic, and freshness, along with our abilities, skills, and knowledge at Konditorhuset.
